About Me

Family:

Tony and I have Diesel, our German Shepherd, who is a handful and a half. Tony has a teenage daughter, Keira, who is very active in wrestling, trap-shooting, softball, and 4-H, giving us plenty of opportunities to cheer her on! We live on an acreage with a beautiful view from the back deck – definitely peaceful. I love seeing the wildlife, especially in the summer and fall.

Favorites:

My musical taste is quite eclectic – 90s pop and rock hits, 50s and 60s hits, country, polka (I’m half Czech), etc. My preferred genre for reading is historical fiction, but I have found books from other genres equally enjoyable.

Hobbies:

I enjoy traveling, reading, writing and biking. Give me a beach and book – I’ll be set for hours.

Superpower:

I’m a grammar nerd – I enjoy editing and proofreading! And yes, I secretly, or not-so-secretly, judge others’ poor grammar!

Can't live without:

Coffee. And breaded cheese curds. Not together, but if they were, I’d be okay with that.

Fun Fact:

The closest that I’ve been to a celebrity is meeting Peyton Manning at a restaurant on Christmas Eve in Indianapolis.
